Why school an orphan?
Education is the backbone for every civil economy and we focus our attention on empowering communities in Uganda through sending the kids to school. We are currently responsible for sending 35 children to school where we fully cater for their tuition fees and scholastic materials. We would love to appreciate friends from all over the world who continuously contribute towards providing termly the tuition fees and scholastic materials to the kids. Our focus is currently in orphan’s Education and we have plans in the future to launch our own school so your support is much appreciated.
Life at the Our Children's Home
Mugabi Children's Home offers a temporary children center where the orphaned and at risk children stay in order to help them find the missing love that led to their state of hopelessness. All children in our care stay with us and we share everything together as we fill their lives with values (social, and spiritual), character and teachings.
We strive to find the lineage of our children who have a surviving parent, or other relatives willing to care for them, and build a relationship so we can keep a connection with the child with the ultimate aim of resettling every child when possible for better growth in a family setting. Likewise, when families have been separated, reunification is of first priority whenever safely possible. Efforts made to keep struggling families together are a vital part of the Bible’s call to care for orphans and widows in distress. Our continued home needs as we look after the children arise for the feeding bills, utility bills, rental bills, and educational bills. Your prayers towards our sustainability are much appreciated.
